Mipmap

Mipmap is a cylindrical lighting element primarily composed of three slip-rolled perforated sheets of steel assembled into an 8-foot column and a 4-foot lamp-shade. A large-scale interference pattern emerges as a result of overlain and offset perforations lit from within. The illusion of depth projected onto the outer cylinder slowly morphs and transforms as the viewer's perspective changes.
